One of my most anticipated movie releases of this year was Paper Towns. Although I didn't really enjoy the book, I couldn't wait to watch it! Unfortunately, it was being released a week after here in the UAE. Thanks to VOX Cinemas I got passes to the premiere to be able to watch it earlier. I knew it was going to be a good movie, and I wasn't let down.

I liked how the movie did the book justice. Yes, there were slight changes and the SeaWorld scene wasn't included. No one should ever expect the movie to be just like the book. Nonetheless, I still felt like it was a very good book-to-movie adaptation. In my opinion, Cara and Natt played their roles perfectly. The characters Radar and Ben constantly made me laugh. Like Insurgent, this was another adaptation where I ended up liking the movie more than the book. It was a very fun movie filled with a lot of humor. I was very surprised with the cameo from a special someone, I didn't read about it anywhere so I wasn't expecting that surprise. My favorite scene was the road trip. It was very funny and exciting. Also, I liked the ending in the movie a lot more than the ending in the book. Overall, this was a great movie. If you haven't watched it in cinemas yet, you should. My rating for it would be 7 out of 10.

Did you watch Paper Towns yet? What are your thoughts on it?
